On the 26th of October 2016, Camera Club of the Philippines formally opened “Imagine – Visual Freedom” a photographic exhibition at The Gallery, Solaire Casino and Resort.
Photographs by 51 members of the Club were on display and these were curated by CCP member Tilak Hettige. Guests who attended were awed by the stunning photographs which were meticulously arranged in the gallery. They offered a glimpse into the artistry and passions of the club members.
Many members were in attendance including Lifetime Members Pancho Escaler, Raymond Sto. Domingo, Quincy Castillo, Louie Abiva, Raul Tangco, Bien Bautista, Manny Gaite, Mon Abad and Ruben Asedillo.
Welcome remarks were delivered by Pres. Philip Clayton Yu and an introduction to the exhibit was given by member and curator Tilak Hettige. Executives of Solaire who warmly welcomed CCP members during that night were Director for Entertainment Audie Gemora and assistant director Regina Kaimo, to whom we conveyed our heartfelt appreciation for hosting Camera Club of the Philippines.
It was indeed a memorable evening for everyone! The exhibit runs until November 22, 2016. A book of the same title will be published to commemorate this visually stimulating exhibit.
