Back in April 2003, under the leadership of President Lito Quimel, the club held an On-The-Spot competition at Coron, Palawan.   21 members, some with their families joined the event.  Travelling via ferry MV Our Lady of Medjugordje from WG&A, the troop left port in the afternoon to wake up in the beautiful island of Coron.  The following month, with 40 slide entries competing, it was Master Emil Davocol who was declared Coron OTS Winner, followed by Rey Ortiz and Kiko Balagtas in second and third respectively.

For 2011, Coron turns out as one of the most sought after OTS destination and thus the 2011 BOD has decided it was high time for a revisit.  2010 OTS King Raffy Santos, who was back then a probee, will surely be on the hunt for the winning shots to defend his title.  It’s a different ballgame now using digital instead of slides.  Get your gears ready, your memory cards empty.  Set your date sometime in May 2011…  Coron – Here we come!
